Lobe pump WearCorrosionFood

Four times longer life thanks to hard inchromizing

Many pumps are designed as a lobe pump, a positive displacement pump that uses two adjacent, but non-touching lobes. Corrosive and abrasive products are contained in the liquid that is pumped, causing damage and wear. The service life of a lobe pump is often less than six months.

With hard inchromizing (CM 03002), we apply a very tough surface (2000 HV) to the pump, which also gives it the corrosion resistance needed. If a 17-4PH quality is chosen, the parts are subsequently precipitation-hardened. This increases the service life to more than two years.

Dimensions and material
AISI 316 DIN: 1.4401 (alternatively: 17-4PH) ΓΈ 76 x 44 mm
Treatment
Hard inchromizing(CM 03002)

The best treatment for extremely wear-resistant parts with a hard and dense structure and good running characteristics. Dimensional changes are minimal.
