Punches / die-cutting tools WearPaper and cardboard

Perfect cutting quality, longer service life

Punching paper and cardboard leads to significant wear on the knife blade, limiting the component’s service life to around a year. Applying a coating is not an option, as the surface structure interferes with the cutting and punching quality.

The solution is hard inchromizing. The cutting edges are highly wear-resistant thank to the treatment. There is less friction between the steel and the paper or cardboard, which extends the part’s service life to more than three years.
